Luci Hammans

Luci is a passionate spoken word artist, theatre educator, playwright, and social activist with over 10 years of experience in the creative arts and community engagement. With a background in creative arts education and applied theatre, Luci uses the power of performance and storytelling to promote social change, advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, mental health awareness, and gender equality. As an educator, Luci has facilitated workshops and programs that empower marginalized communities, particularly youth, through creative expression and participatory methods. As a playwright, Luci’s work explores themes of identity, resilience, and social justice, with a focus on amplifying voices often unheard. A dedicated advocate for equality, Luci has presented at international conferences, organized community events, and contributed to movements addressing social issues across the Caribbean. Through art, education, and activism, Luci strives to create spaces that foster healing, dialogue, and collective empowerment.
