Michelle Isava began exhibiting her work in 2002 and in 2009 she graduated from U.W.I. with a B.A. in Visual Arts. She has a diverse practice; which spans painting, performance art, and short film. Her art grapples with the personal and societal angst and anxiety of lived experiences in contemporary society. Her art has been featured in local publications, film festivals and international performance art festivals. Currently, she is focusing on a series of paintings inspired by the regenerative powers of nature and mothering.
