Shane Hanson Mohammed was born in Trinidad in 1995. He is a conceptual artist with a B.A in Fine Art from The University of the West Indies, Trinidad. Since graduating, he has been continuously working and engaging in a variety of art mixed media, but always geared around the use of found/repurposed/recycled objects. His first major exhibit was The Visual Arts Degree Show 2017 held at The National Museum and Art Gallery of Trinidad and Tobago. In this group show, he debuted a body of found/recycled objects in an installation/painting entitled, “Titled”. He currently teaches secondary school Visual Arts and CAPE level Art and Design. In recent years, what followed was constant studio practice and further investigations and experimentation in his works. His latest exhibit was, The Central Show, solo show at The Frame Shop, A Space Inna Space.  He currently resides and works in his studio in Chaguanas, Trinidad.
